When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use.

When diet is correct, medicine is of no need.

Using the intelligence of Ayurveda and the precision of at-home functional medicine testing, we can work together to harmonize the body and mind for optimal wellness and longevity.

Ayurveda is the world's oldest healing system with its roots in India.  Literally translated from Sanskrit, Ayur (life) veda (science, knowledge), it is a holistic system of care that takes into consideration the entire being - spiritual, emotional, intellectual, behavioral, physical, familial, environmental and universal.  Its emphasis is on longevity, rejuvenation, and prevention, and it empowers each individual to take responsibility for their own well-being.  It teaches us how to live in harmony with ourselves, our environment, and each other.

Functional medicine focuses on finding the root cause of dis-ease - the underlying issue that is causing an imbalance in the body resulting in suboptimal health and often discomfort or nagging symptoms which impact our lives daily.  If that imbalance is left unaddressed, we may experience digestive issues, poor sleep, anxiety or depression, joint pain, and chronic inflammation, to name only a few symptoms.  Over time, those symptoms can be exacerbated and manifest in poor nutrient absorption and/or leaky gut, imbalanced cortisol levels, pain in our bodies that prohibits healthy movement and lymphatic flow, and systemic inflammation, which has been known to lead to cancer.

Integrative health considers the many facets of an individual - much like Ayurveda - and intends to rebalance the whole.  Wellness plans include nutrition and sleep guidance, exercise recommendations, stress management, and detoxification using all of the tools in the toolbox - incorporating bodywork such as massage therapy or lymphatic massage, energy work, sauna, acupuncture, etc.

As an Integrative Health Practitioner, I work with clients to identify the root cause of their health issue and teach them how to restore balance naturally.

I offer 3 different Wellness Plans depending on client needs, each revolving around 8 vital components: diet, exercise, stress management, toxin removal, sleep, emotional balance, supplementation (when appropriate), and healing mindset.  If you have questions about which Plan may be right for you, please connect with me so that I may help you make the best choice for your unique situation.
